The road to deeper connection begins with making a commitment to do the work together.
Whether you’re adjusting to a recent change, feeling stuck, or facing a crisis, therapy is an inclusive and safe space where you can discover new avenues for closeness. You may need a reminder of what drew you to the relationship in the first place. Or perhaps, as time goes by, you are re-evaluating the kind of relationship that you need.
We all long to love and be loved. Yet intimate relationships can sometimes stir up old wounds and vulnerabilities. To protect ourselves, we may lash out, shut down, or put up walls. We can push away the very things that help us heal.
As your therapist, I will provide an accepting environment for each partner to share your story and feel heard. We will work collaboratively to help you identify patterns that risk disconnection, loneliness, or resentment. Conflicts are healthy and inevitable, but the way we make repairs is what matters most.
Human beings are wired to connect. I offer warmth, humor, and understanding to help you regain your courage, compassion, and intimacy. Together, you have the capacity to transform your relationship and yourselves. Now is a great time to get started.
